We love all of the great recipes that our Karma Nuts communities develop, so we had to share this amazing smoothie bowl from our friend Harsimran @grow.cook.relish. 

She writes, "Are you ready to bolster your immune system? This mango, ginger, and cashew smoothie is the answer. It’s such an easy, health my breakfast option on busy mornings.

I got addicted to smoothies when I was in grad school, it was hard to find time during research season and that’s when I started experimenting with smoothie.

This smoothie is very low in fat and sodium, high in calcium, fiber, potassium, vitamin C, E, B12. It’s perfect for breakfast and will keep you satisfied until lunch. 

I garnish my smoothie bowl with fruits, granola for crunch, coconut flakes, cashews, and chia seeds. I used the cashews from @karmanuts

 

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 cup mango chunks
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • 7-8 cashews
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup almond milk 
  • hint of honey 

Blend all ingredients together in a blender and garnish as you'd like!
